What’s the best way to book?
The quickest way to book is online here, however you are welcome to text 443-616-3482, email saltandseahair@gmail.com, or send an Instagram DM @saltandseahair if you aren’t sure which service(s) to book and/or can’t find a date online that works best for you. I am always happy to help you schedule! If you reach out during business hours, please allow for a potential delayed response time (up to 24 hours).
I’m a new client – should I book a consultation first?
If possible, I would love to meet you first and discuss your hair history and color/cut/extension goals in depth! That way we can better determine which services will be best for you and your lifestyle, create a realistic maintenance schedule, and go over investment.
Do you accept walk-ins?
Unfortunately no, I am only able to accommodate pre-booked appointments at this time.
Where are you located?
Salt & Sea Hair Salon is located within Sola Salons at 8835 Columbia 100 Pkwy, Columbia MD 21045. There’s plenty of complimentary parking out front (you can also park in the reserved spots for Suites E, F & G).
When you enter, go left and you’ll find Salt & Sea immediately on the right corner (Suite 10).
What should I expect during an appointment?
Every appointment with me is one-on-one – I don’t rush the process and I don’t double book (unless we plan ahead for you to bring a friend) because I love offering a private, customized appointment for each visit.
Time required for each service varies depending on needs, but please allow roughly 1-1.5 hours for haircuts, 2-3 hours for color, and 3-5 hours for lightening services. I have snacks and drinks on hand, but you’re welcome to bring your laptop (there’s wi-fi if you need to work) or anything you may need.
Do you offer a referral discount?
Yes! If you are a current client and you refer a new client, they will receive 10% off during their first visit when they mention your name. After their appointment, you will also get 10% off next time you’re in!
Do you have gift cards available?
Yes, you can purchase gift cards online here.
What are your cancellation/no show/late policies?
I get it, life happens – if you need to cancel or reschedule an upcoming appointment, I kindly ask for 24-hour notice. If you are feeling unwell, please let me know as soon as possible so we can reschedule you to a later date.
Please note: Salt & Sea Hair Salon requires a credit card to book any appointment – if you provide less than 24-hour notice, you will be charged 30% of the scheduled service price. Same day cancellations or no shows will result in a 50% charge and will require pre-payment before your next service.
Late policy: if you are more than 15 minutes late to an appointment, we may not be able to perform the scheduled services and may need to reschedule you to a later date. Thank you for your understanding!
What is your inclement weather policy?
In the event of inclement weather, Salt & Sea Hair Salon prioritizes safety. If you have any concerns, or feel it will be unsafe to travel to your appointment, please don’t hesitate to reach out. I’ll be monitoring the weather closely and, if needed, I’ll be in touch with dates to reschedule. Your safety is a priority!
